Pipe filters
Since its origins, PIHASA designs, manufactures and supplies a complete range of filters and strainers for industrial fluids (water, oils, hydrocarbons) for power generation and petrochemical plants as well as other heavy industries.
We have experience manufacturing “T” or “bathtub” type temporary filters, conical and truncated conical temporary filters, “Y” type filters, single basket filters, single body filters with multiple baskets, double or “duplex” basket filters, self-cleaning filters , and cartridge filters.
Given the presence of a wide range of standardized and economical products manufactured on a large scale in the market, we have currently specialized in the design and calculation of filters tailored to non-conventional needs, where standard filters from large-scale manufacturers do not meet the requirements of our clients. We customize them depending on the different fluids, viscosities, flow rates, pressures, temperatures, required degree of filtration, allowable pressure loss, etc.
We also include the CE Declaration of Conformity in our custom manufacturing when applicable, or calculation dossiers for legalization in other regulatory environments.

In our desire to satisfy the needs of our clients to the maximum extent of our possibilities, over the years we have manufactured different special elements and managed supplies where we provide the added value of our technical capacity when specifying and selecting the best solutions available on the market for highly specialized and qualified elements for installation in the pipes where we use our supports and filters. Additionally, this work takes advantage of logistical and commercial synergies both on our part and on that of our clients.
In this sense, PIHASA manufactures elements such as: figure 8 flanges (spectacle blinds), blind discs and spacers, drainage rings, special anchor bolts and plates, sample coolers.
Additionally, we regularly manage the supply of other miscellaneous piping: metal and elastomeric expansion joints, flexible hoses and fittings or quick connections, automatic vent valves, water-soluble paper and adhesive tape (for welding applications), nozzles, and a long etcetera…
